Treating Migraines With Vitamins Revisited

Or, "Success is sweet and sweeter if long delayed and gotten through many struggles and defeats."-Amos Bronson Alcott

After almost ten weeks of taking vitamins to prevent my migraines I think I can say with relative confidence that it has been a success.  I used to have a headache at almost all times and get 3 or 4 migraines each week, usually with one fairly debilitating attack each week and one or two extremely debilitating attacks every ten weeks.  In the past ten weeks though, I have had one minor migraine and only a few headaches.  I am overjoyed with the success of this treatment program, which I designed myself after reading a number of books and papers and, unsuccessfully, seeing a nutritionist and a few neurologist over the years.  I have had no side effects from these vitamins except feeling healthier and more energetic.  I am obviously not a nutritionist, so I wouldn't recommend people just go out and take vitamins but I do think that migraineurs should consult a nutritionist and read up on the literature themselves, and question anything that anyone tells you that doesn't make sense or add up.  Also, not every treatment plan will work for everyone, so it might take a few tries and adjustments of vitamins before you get it right, but once you get it right, everything seems so worth it.  I cannot believe the difference taking these vitamins has made, and I never want to go back to living with the pain that I used to have.  I strongly encourage everyone to consider the power of vitamins.

Healthy vibes!
